EXPERIENTIAL NETWORK TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The purpose of the Program and this Agreement is to benefit students by
providing opportunities to work on real-life projects and problems that reflect
experiences in the professional workplace.
There is no guarantee of any particular results at the culmination of a
Project.
Students participating in the Program will remain students of the University
and will not be considered employees of the Sponsor as a result of their
participation in Projects. Students are not entitled to and will waive any and
all claims for wages, benefits, sick time or any other rights commonly
with an employment relationship arising directly from performing the Projects.

The Sponsor will:
-
Submit Projects to the Program for students to complete within a specified
period of time. Projects must coordinate with the student’s course or
curriculum and incorporate the student’s education.
-
Designate an employee of Sponsor to serve as coordinator of the Project, who
will be responsible for the planning, conduct and evaluation of work on the
Project with the student(s). The coordinator will collaborate with the
University to evaluate students and provide educational feedback throughout
the Project.
-
Provide information and resources necessary for students to conduct the Project.

Prepare a Project description that outlines the anticipated responsibilities
of the student. The University will use this document to determine the
suitability of the Project for the Program.
-

student to progress toward achievement of the stated objectives of the
Project (it then becomes the mutual responsibilities of the student, the
on-site supervisor, and the University to devise a plan by which the
student may be assisted to achieve the stated objectives).
-
Terminate its participation in the Program at any time in its sole
discretion, provided however that no such termination shall negatively
impact any student currently performing a Project for the Sponsor; such
student shall be permitted to complete the Project with regular access to
Sponsor’s resources intended for the Project, including but not limited to
the on-site coordinator.
-
Inform the University of any requirements that Sponsor will place on
students for a particular Project (e.g. Project orientation, completion of
training, confidentiality agreements).
-
Acknowledge that Project work is the academic work of the student, who will
retain ownership of all right, title and interest in and to the Project work.
-
Provide the University with necessary permissions to the use Projects and
any related information for the development of its courses, educational
programs, degree programs and any other purposes related to its mission.
Sponsor hereby licenses to the University the non-exclusive, perpetual,
irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right to use Projects submitted by the
Sponsor and any related information provided by the Sponsor for the
aforementioned purpose.
MISCELLANEOUS
Sponsor hereby permits University to use the name and logo of Sponsor solely
in connection with Experiential Network promotional and recruitment activities
and materials, in any type and format deemed appropriate by the University.
This Agreement represents the entire agreement between University and Sponsor
with respect to the subject matter hereof. This Agreement is not intended and
shall not be construed to create any rights or benefits for any third parties,
including but not limited to students of University. This Agreement shall be
governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts, without respect for its conflicts of law provisions.
